Since 1999, the Queensland Synod of The Uniting Church has recognised the wonderful work of volunteers through the Moderator’s Community Service Medal.
The Moderator’s Medal is presented to individuals who have contributed in an outstanding way to the Uniting Church’s mission in community services. As the health and community service provider of the Uniting Church, UnitingCare Queensland administers these awards.
This year we are looking for nominations that truly reflect the mission of UnitingCare Queensland:

The awards will be presented at the 32nd meeting of the Queensland Synod which runs from 20-24 May 2016 at Alexandra Park Conference Centre on the Sunshine Coast. Medals may also be presented at other ceremonies at the recipient’s local church or UnitingCare Queensland facility if they are unable to attend the Synod meeting.
