Family advice, parenting programs and support in Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast
We want all families to live together harmoniously so children feel safe, enjoy school and have positive self-esteem. Through free counselling and parenting programs, we assist caregivers by offering strategies on how they can make their own parenting journey easier and what they can do to support children with complex needs.
Our qualified counsellors help families with a wide range of challenges, including mental health issues, problems at school, trauma, behavioural issues, parental separation, drug and alcohol use, and much more.
Locations
We have offices in Redcliffe in Moreton Bay, and Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
How does The Children and Parenting Program help?
Our counsellors are passionate about giving parents and carers the tools needed to make their child feel secure, loved and emotionally supported. This is done in a number of ways, including:
- Child and family counselling.
- Community playgroups.
- Peer support groups.
- School readiness programs.
- Parenting advice in your home.
- Circle of Security classes (attachment parenting).
Our support is provided face-to-face and via Zoom. We attend playgroups, schools and family homes so we can see first-hand how a child might be struggling and then create a plan on how to best move forward as a family unit.
Who does The Children and Parenting Program help?
Our service primarily supports children, aged between 0 and 12, and their families, but we can work with kids up to the age of 18.
