Support and respect for culture
We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia's First Nation Peoples.
At UnitingCare, we are committed to making crucial steps toward social justice, working with you and the communities we serve to bring about healing. From respected Elders to the littlest members of the family, we're here to support you, with respect for culture.
Our support ranges from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led services in aged care and drug and alcohol rehabilitation, to all of our inclusive community services in the Northern Territory and Queensland. We also offer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traineeships to support our young people. Explore some of our key services below.
Reconciliation is at the heart of our programs, services and initiatives to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with opportunities to participate and thrive in life.
